Andrew Bannon

Andrew Bannon, Partner – Banking, Financial Services and Insurance Consulting, Transformation and Innovation at Tata Consultancy Services
Andrew was born and raised north of Boston in the Merrimack Valley, and is a 1996 graduate of the Norwich University Corps of Cadets. After serving as both an enlisted soldier and officer in the United States Army Infantry, Andrew started his professional career with KPMG Peat Marwick – one of the “Big-4” professional services firms, where he performed technology advisory and integration work to address the Year 2000 computer problem. Following completion of that work, Andrew focused purely on the financial services sector – staying with KPMG for 10+ years providing advisory and integration services to top-tier banking, capital markets and insurance clients. KPMG eventually spun-off their consulting arm to go public – becoming ‘KPMG Consulting’ and later ‘BearingPoint’.
Andrew left BearingPoint in the summer of 2008 and continued his consulting leadership journey with various professional services organizations. He is now a partner in the Consulting and Service Integration Group at Tata Consultancy Services (“TCS”), leading the advisory and transformation business for large, global banking and financial services accounts.
Andrew’s interests outside of work revolve around music, where he has 21+ years’ experience playing guitar. His musical interests expanded into music management, leading him to start his own independent record label in 2004. Andrew currently lives in the Flatiron neighborhood of Manhattan with his wife and son, where he is proud to walk around town with his Red Sox hat on.
